Happy December 🎄

December, WOW can you believe another year is nearly gone?  It’s that time of year to be in the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. Are you all decorated? Did you get all new Christmas décor with a new theme or are you excited, like me, to pull out the decorations from years past and reminisce?

When you only buy what you love, you are more apt to remember the occasion when it was purchased. Perhaps you were shopping with a friend or maybe you were at the right place when they slashed the price on the item you loved but just couldn’t splurge on. Whatever the occasion, bringing out past décor reminds of us past memories.

Just because you use existing holiday décor doesn’t mean it has to look the same. My Santa collection gets moved all over.  Some years they are on the mantle, sometimes on the buffet in the dining room, and some years they have been in the kitchen. This year they are spread out. I put a couple on the mantle, some in the kitchen, and a couple on the porch.

Read on to see why that’s a new spot to decorate this year!

Whether you go all out or have just a few holiday touches out, if you love it and are happy, that’s all that matters.

Happy decorating!

Here are a few of the decorated spots in my home.

Company Collaboration

I recently worked on an office project for the company that handles all my social media, JPB Professional Marketing. It was such a relief to find them. Social media takes a lot of time and they do a great job for me! They recently moved to a larger space and needed furniture and art. I was thrilled to help them decorate their new space.

A Perfect Porch Project

While visiting the lake house project this fall, we were introduced to EZE-Breeze 3-season room windows. They are a wonderful product that we added to our screened porch. My husband did the installation with some help from our son. We can still have all screens but can easily put the windows down to get use out of the room in cooler months. We are thrilled with the result. The project is not totally finished. There needs to be some trim added and painting done. That didn’t stop me from adding a little bit of holiday décor to the room.
