Hello March!
It almost feels like spring! The birds are chirping, the sun is setting later and sights of spring are popping up everywhere! The winter dĂ©cor is all put away. How do you decorate for “almost spring”? I showed you my inspiration for the grouping around my tv. It’s 99 % done. I may tweak the items on the shelf and the right side of the cabinet. You may remember me encouraging you to shop your house. Just today I had a conversation with a client about doing that. Sometimes it’s necessary to paint a frame or lamp base to get just what you need. I shopped my attic for some items. The bunny wall sconce and iron floral piece are favorites of mine.Â
The end result feels fresh and updated. Now I need to decide what to do with the walls on either side of the window! You know what they say, “if you give a mouse a cookie…”
Project Updates
This colorful project is just finishing up! The built-ins are getting installed this week. Wait until you see the fabric on the window seat! This long-time client is a joy to work with. Her house was the first where I suggested painting her walls black. She didn’t look at me like I was crazy. Who said black is boring?
